Team Captains Requirements

Be a leader who supports other swimmers on the team.
Be selected from a pool of names put forth by the swim team and coaches.
(Coaches will speak to all candidates confirming their nomination and Team Captain responsibilities.)
Not be chosen based on times, ability or popularity.
Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or above or will risk losing said position.

Responsibilities of Team Captains

To be a role model for the entire team.
To assist younger swimmers with stroke skills when asked by a coach.
To be a leader among his/her peers.
To represent the Sea Lions Swim Team in a positive role at all times.
To assist Coaches and/or Board Members with things that need to be done on and off the pool deck.
